Welcome to the SAIL Program
The Sudanese Australian Integrated Learning (SAIL) Program Inc. is a volunteer, non-profit, secular organisation that provides free English support & community services to the Sudanese refugee community in Melbourne, Sydney & Perth, Australia.
Volunteer at SAIL in 2013
The SAIL Program operates every Saturday morning, between mid February and late December in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.
SAIL offers tutoring to approximately 500 members of the Sudanese community and has a volunteer staff of around 450 people.
As an entirely volunteer-run organisation, SAIL relies on the time and energy of people to survive. All SAIL campuses are currently in need of new volunteers in a range of roles.

Sudanese Online Research Association (SORA)
SAIL’s affiliate, theĀ Sudanese Online Research Association (SORA) is a devoted to the issues, journeys, images and stories of the Sudanese Diaspora. SORA strives to provide an internationally accessible centre for Sudan-related research and to raise awareness in academic and wider circles of the hopes, struggles and realities of the Sudanese people living outside Sudan.
